My New Home

We arrived at our new home in Phuket on Thursday evening with no trouble and everything went really smoothly. I’m loving the the place we’re staying at, for me its pretty much perfect. The only main issue is getting around the island which you ideally need a scootay for although Cos isn’t too keen on them. Tbf when i first came out to Phuket earlier this yr i wasn’t overly enthusiastic about jumping on one either. However, i quickly got used to it and its a must need imo. Cos is/was adamant that he wasn’t getting one however within a couple of hrs i got the little mincer (with little persuasion) to jump on the back of the bike that the owner had lent me for the first couple of days. We were doing about 5mph tbh plus he was gripping my love handles quite firmly which was a wee bit uncomfortable for me but he was fine and later admitted that he actually quite enjoying riding on the back of me, lolz.

Like i said the place is lovely, spacious and has everything we need as you can see from the video clip. I’m staying in the en suite master room which is decent. I was happy to flip for the rooms but half-heartedly mentioned to Cos that i thought i should have the room seeing as i’ve sorted/planned most of the trip on top of all the stress of moving out of my flat etc and he snap agreed, fairplay mate, cheers Costa x x

Gonna try and start posting at least twice a week once i’ve settled in and give regular updates about my life/poker progress [ ] exciting stuff! We have already got plans for friends to come over to stay at varies times plus we are both part of an fb group called the Phuketeers which has about 100 members all of whom are poker players. People on there basically just organise all sorts of activities like footy, table tennis, nights outs on the town and chill outs on the beach etc etc and post up an open invitation to anyone within the group so there is plenty to do whilst we are not grinding. I’m really looking forward to the immediate future with trips to other islands and countries on the agenda whist having this ‘home’ in Phuket with further trips to the States likely on the cards after the 6 months is up in Thailand. I’m loving my life right now, my head is in a really good place. Hopefully we can both earn some good monies and continue to have a nice life, laters.
