Living With Greekstein

A couple of weeks ago my fellow Poker Encore fishay and general all round life spewtard Cos aka Greekstein came to live with me for a total of 8 days. Seeing as we are both going travelling together it seemed like a good idea at the time. Also, i thought it would be nice to have some company as things have been a little quiet in my flat since my ex housemate and best buddy Scotch moved out last year. Furthermore, seeing as Greeky plays alot more poker than myself i thought it would really motivate me to put in some hardcore hours online. It turned out to be an insightful glimpse into the life of a little mincey degenerate…

Within the first 24 hrs of his stay my once fresh and tidy flat was looking more like a bomb site and stank of Greeky’s repugnant feet which smelt like mouldy feta cheese! Honestly, the odour coming from them bad boys was unbearable so i ordered the dirty fish to sit out from his games and go and take a shower. He did as commanded but not without flooding my fooking bathroom floor, fml. This was the first of about 4 or 5 times in which the fish ‘flooded’ the bathroom. Will you please use the bath mat and draw the fooking shower curtain one time Costa! Also, we somehow managed to get through about 6 bog rolls during his short stay. WTF were you doing in there buddy?

One thing i learnt about Constantine is that he absolutely fooking loves Jerry Springer. Every day i woke up he’d be there sitting on my couch doing his little brains in playing PLO and watching some Jerry. No jokes, it was like an addiction, he had to get his daily fix. Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! Haha, he loved it! One day i even caught him watching Stavros Flatley on youtube, the Greek/Irish Dancers from Britain’s Got Talent 2009! WTF was that all about mate?

On day 2 of his stay i sold my motor so transport around Watford was somewhat limited so i was unable to do the usual Tesco shop and therefore we ended up ordering take away every night. This seemed pretty standard for Greekstein thou and we munched our way through a number of Indian dishes, Chinese, Kebabs and Dominoes for both lunch and dinner. I think i must have gained an extra stone in weight whilst that fat bastard was staying with me tbh.

Pokerwise things were mixed while Greeky was staying here as were his mood swings. One minute he was happily stacking the fish whilst stuffing his hairy little face with last nights chicken tikka masala left overs then the next he was on raging tilt, hurling insults at the screen and in the chatbox and punching his monitor. On one night i witnessed a famous Greekstein blow up. He was deep and playing well in a £100f and a £30f and was 2/18 and 5/8 with around £2k ftw in both. The money would have been a big boost that day as i think he took abit of a hammering in the plo games but the poker gods didn’t seem to give a shit and he busted 18th and 8th. That was the cue for a mini Constantine blowup which ended with him doing his remaining £400 in this particular account on Blackjack. He gg’d his last £150 in one hand. He stood on 20, dealer obv pulls 21, goodnight mate, see you tomorrow It was painful to watch and in hindsight i should have pulled the plug from his monitor, next time i will although it was kinda entertaining viewing

Joking aside (even though all of the above is 100% truth) living with Cos was great. Good banter etc and i reckon we’ll gonna have a wicked time travelling together. I can’t wait!

In regards to my poker playing exploits things have still be going ok although volume levels have dipped a bit recently, sigh, standard etc. So far i have managed to win three mtt’s this month, a $20f plus a $30f and $7r on Poker Encore. I’m ticking over as per usual but $10k+ months should, like last month be super standard imo if i put the hrs in. August has seen me make a $2.1k profit so far, hopefully i can step things up before flying to Thailand in about 4 weeks time, weeee.
