Poker Points
What are Poker Points?
Every single time you play a hand on any of our real money tables or enter a real money tournament, you'll earn Poker Points. You can collect and redeem your Poker Points in a variety of ways. Poker Points may also be used as
free money to enter some of our guaranteed tournaments and freerolls.
Earning Poker Points
Poker Points are accrued for every raked hand or real money tournament played. The amount of Poker Points that you earn in any given raked hand or tournament is dependant upon the amount of rake generated or tournament fees paid. Quite simply, the more rake or tournament fees contributed; the more Poker Points you will earn.
From the 1st of March 2012 Poker Encore has moved to a Weighted Contribution Rake System.
This means that players will now be rewarded for the exact amount of rake they contribute in every pot rather then splitting the total rake between all the players in the pot equally. The advantages to you of the new system are:
1. Players will be rewarded for the exact rake contribution
2. The VIP structure is easier to understand
3. Cash table points will be earned in the same way as tournament points
4. No more fluctuations in rake ranges
Put simply:
For every $1 in Rake or Fees you will earn 21 points
For every £1 in Rake or Fees you will earn 31.5 points
For every 1€ in Rake or Fees you will earn 25 points
